This page classifies every sector ETF on the Market Pulse leaderboard into a stage of the classic bottom → markup → distribution cycle, using daily RSI plus 5-day and 20-day relative strength vs SPY. Stage history is rebuilt hourly from daily snapshots — you're always looking at where each sector sits today, and when it last changed stage.

Turning Up
RSI reclaiming 50 after a washout with short-term RS leading — the early entry window.
Bottoming
Washed out (RSI < 42). Beaten down — watch for the turn, don't buy blind.
Markup
Established uptrend: RSI 55+ with positive RS vs SPY. Trend in gear — hold winners.
Distribution
Was overbought (RSI peaked 65+), now rolling over with fading RS — trim, avoid new entries.
