Summary
The Tradestie Stock Score extension collects no personal data and no browsing history. It exists to show stock scores next to tickers, and that's all it does.
What the extension sends
- Ticker symbols only. When you open a supported finance page (such as a Yahoo Finance
quote page) or type a symbol into the extension popup, the ticker symbols you look up are sent anonymously
to our API (
tradestie.com) to fetch their scores. No page content, URLs, or other browsing information is transmitted. - No account required. The extension works without login, and lookups are not tied to any user identity.
What we do not collect
- No personal information (name, email, contacts)
- No browsing history or page content
- No cookies or cross-site identifiers set by the extension
- No selling or sharing of data with third parties — there is no such data to sell
Server logs
Like virtually every web service, our API servers keep standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested endpoint) for security, abuse prevention, and rate limiting. These logs are not used for advertising or profiling.
