I do, however, see this being encouraging for Fractyl, their smaller market cap, their differentiation in treatment (procedure) for weight loss and weight loss management, as well as it's focus on diabetes and gene therapy. Obviously it's anybody's guess on what deals might be made or who is being eyed at this point but I see Fractyl being a enticing partnership/BO candidate for sector players.

@Ivan1720 my absolute favorite is $GUTS but people bash me for my optimistic look on it (you can read my posts on the GUTS board of why I love it). As for a solid to get in and just sit back and watch the cash register, $CRMD is a great one for that. We did the same with $VRNA and $TGTX. The others I listed, other than AUPH, are market movers that I'm expecting an eventually 50% gain in relative short term, but carry more risk.

@PennyConnection1 still learning. My first goal. And I'm not worried about $GUTS in the least bit. I know a lot on here pump for whatever the reasons, but I've been in love with GUTS since I first found out about them. They are truly differentiated because they have a procedure that not only addresses weight loss but more importantly maintains weihhtloss after people leave GLP-1s (which is a major concern at this point). Recent research has shown the importance of the pancreas, as it pertains to weight loss, and Fractyl is focusing on a first of its kind gene therapy treatment with the pancreas that will be beneficial.
In a competitive and bloated obesity market, GUTS is taking the smart path to market share, especially since they can be an add-on to ANY existing or future GLP-1. Deal with $LLY $PFE $GSK or $NVO not out of the question.
