I was short 5,375 of the current 13,512 OI in the Dec $0.50 contracts. Below is a snap shot from my main account where most is held.
For the record, I never once advocated going long these options. All I did was point out the volume that starting pouring into them as it was occurring in real time. I'd been trying to hedge out my position for about a month before the volume showed up that allowed me to do so. Covered calls often can be the easiest, most pain-free way to exit a small-cap positions. Once that bidder started showing up (when the stock was mid .40s), I started feeding him.
First I was only getting .15, but as the stock continued to rise, I sold more at .20, then .25. In fact, once I got fully hedged, I started adding NEW SHARES and immediately hedging them.
Here I was buying shares at a net cost of only $.33-$.34! How? By buying at .54 (for example) then getting .20 for the covered call... all while the company was sitting on $1.30 cash/share. |

NVDA still growing triple digits and trading at only a slight premium to the broad market... and "no growth" $aapl? Ridiculous. And while many tech names are trading at stupidly ovewrvalued levels, META is training at dumb dumb relative valuation (so is NVDA). Sigh...
This will likely be resolved faorably for longs on these three names imo... and they will soon be back on track to MUCH higher. Today was a good start, and happy to see these 3 begin the big lift as I suggested was now WAY overdue over the last few days incl yesterday. |

Good to see these respond a bit after weak sauce tape in recent days... As been writing for months, not only have these done well this yr, based upon their business plans, solid mgmt (esp the first two), rock solid balance sheets, monster large (and being used) buyback plans, and esp wrt NVDA and META, ridiculously cheap relative valuations (relative to the sector, their hisorical metrics on growth of revs, eps and FCF) really are just plain stupid.
So, glad to see so many morons, "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing," lining up at the bus stop to hurl themselves under the parade of buses coming to mash them into the pavement between now and when they report in late january...
As been saying, "NVDA is the Next NVDA"... and all three of these will be key wealthbuilders in the next few years ahead.
