The setup was too clean. Micro float at 1.94M, 40% insider owned, $7M+ in cash, no debt, and no active dilution. Then I saw the quiet pivot. They updated their site, hired IR for the first time in years, and filings confirm they’re moving into treatment-resistant depression. No PR yet. That’s what caught my attention.
Chart broke a long downtrend, reclaimed EMA 9/21 on all timeframes, MACD curled, SAR flipped, and then volume hit 6x average. Float fully rotated on Friday. Tape was clean, bids were strong, and L2 was thin above.
CVCO legacy deal wraps August 18. If it closes, they get funding. If not, TRD becomes the focus. Either way, something’s coming. Price is already holding over 3.50. Next breakout level is 3.73. If that goes, I’m watching for 5.80, 7.50, maybe 8.90+. This is the kind of setup to look for; real catalyst, rotated float, clean chart, and no crowd on it yet.

There have been no safety incidents in the ambulatory population, which has full approval. My guess is they come to some agreement that makes both parties a winner. FDA gets a win by making SRPT invest heavily in safety monitoring/data/solutions and SRPT gets a win by continuing to sell their drug to the ambulatory population.
On a separate note, this is probably worth more than $1.2b if sold for parts. $900m revenue portfolio, siRNA pipeline and ASWR investment are all unaffected. |

1) IF it makes it to Phase 3. Nothing is guaranteed with this company, nothing (refer to $ALT Obesity trial and program).
2) They failed fibrosis improvement, which was the most important endpoint of this entire trial. Other numbers look fine, but they are way behind competitors that are doing just fine.
3) Anything related to lean mass is misleading. At this point, we don't know what effect Pemvi had on lean mass preservation because the company never released the results for the placebo group.
4) $ALT's weight loss numbers are largely due to diet and exercise intervention (~twice as much when D&E efforts weren't pushed).
5) Given $ALT's resistance to share weight loss and lean mass numbers for the lean mass substudy, it's likely the results to not differentiate effect from Pemvi. This is also likely one of the many reasons ALT is not pursuing their "Phase 3 Ready" Obesity Program/Trials.
6) Who are you comparing to to make the "most tolerable" claim? |

Other notes that folks seem to get confused about:
1) $ALT has NO biopsies (or any other means of analysis) planned at 48W to measure fibrosis improvement.
Any claims about new Fibrosis data at 48W are FALSE.
2) References to AI data are purely speculation at this point. ALT has not released their AI fibrosis improvement data (only a subset that lacks comparison).
3) There's no FDA approved AI method for reading fibrosis. None.
4) $ALT complaining about the placebo response rate and/or placebo after THEY CHOSE the re-read process so they could manipulate data to lower placebo response from 22% to 7-10%. Unfortunately, this manipulation attempt not only didn't help, it may have actually made things worse.
5) ALT withholding critical endpoints from the 24W data is concerning after they promised the full set of data. |

Vafseo 1q 25 product rev was $12 mm including 1/3 stocking rev, ie $4 mm, so scripts generated only $8 mm not what Butler's comments insinuated. We know 1/3 were refills so ave dose was 420*0.33+300*0.67 = 340 mg. 1q ended with 640 prescribers at ave of 12 scripts per prescriber, or 7680 scripts or $8mm/7680= 1041.66 per script adjusting for ave dose gives $1041.66/340*300 = $919 per script starting dose or times 12 scripts a year = $11029 per year. The WAC for starting dose is $15500 so USRC off invoice discount is 1-11029/15500*100% = 28.8%, now that makes sense to me. |

$HOOD fyi fwiw, as previously posted ystrdy late in session, i did some, what qualifies as daytrades i assume, of HOOD on Friday, selling from 109 to 113, to take profits & reduce my overweighted position, but then i couldn't resist buying some back when it dipped below 109. i will sell more if @ 113+ and will buy some if below 109 again. HOOD is no longer my largest position, it is about my #4 or #5 but that could change next week. I strongly believe in HOOD long term; however, my goal is to turn my money over, i.e. sell some when very overbought or parabolic & not be overly greedy & married to a stock. NFA |
